What is eMaS?

The Sandringham College Enhanced Mathematics and Science Program (eMaS) is designed to cater for talented students during their first four years of secondary schooling.

This challenging and motivating program provides students with the opportunity to:

  • study mathematical and scientific concepts in more depth
  • further develop abstract and critical thinking skills
  • apply learning to a variety of contexts
  • move through the curriculum at a faster pace
  • work in a co-operative learning environment
  • have the opportunity to study VCE units as Year 10 students before they enter Year 11
