The Bluff Road (7-9) Campus is situated on Bluff Road in Sandringham. Its attractive and leafy grounds, which include tennis, basketball and netball courts, provide plenty of space for the 450 Year 7-9 students who currently attend the campus. The size of the campus ensures a sense of community, in which staff and students all know each other well.
Our students’ endeavours, in the classroom and beyond, are supported by our strong commitment to our values: Excellence, Creativity, Integrity, Community and Respect. This is reflected in our culture of Respectful Classrooms, where learning is enhanced through a desire to support each other to ensure a positive and effective learning environment.
We take pride in our care for Year 7 students as they commence their years in a secondary college. This is evident in our Pastoral Care program, as well as the opportunities personal and academic growth through the wide range of programs offered, including our focus on student leadership.
We also believe in offering students a challenging curriculum and the SEAL program fosters academic growth for students of year 7 and beyond. In 2019 our Year 9 students will be introduced to a revised Horizons program to enhance student engagement and foster an approach to inquiry based learning.
We are delighted to see students embrace their special areas of interest and programs such as our International Robotics Team as well as Sport and Dance Academies provide further avenues for young people to explore these areas at all levels.
We are proud of our dedicated staff whose commitment and professionalism is evident in their relationships with students, outstanding classroom practice and extensive extra-curricular activities.
