One Line Safety

The Australian government as part of it’s commitment to ensuring that young people enjoy safe and positive online experiences established the Office of the Children’s eSafety Commissioner in July 2015.  The Office has a well constructed webpage which provides parents with advice about online safety together with a complaints service to address issues arising out of:

  • CYBERBULLYING
  • SOCIAL NETWORKING
  • UNWANTED CONTACT
  • SEXTING
  • TOO MUCH TIME ONLINE
  • INAPPROPRIATE, OFFENSIVE AND ILLEGAL CONTENT
  • SAFEGURARDS
  • A HELP AND RESOURCE SECTION

I encourage all parents to visit the site.  Information in the above areas is attached as a PDF.
