The Year 7 Camp certainly is one of the highlights that comes with starting secondary school. The purpose of the camp is simple- to socialise, to make new friends and most importantly to have fun. The Phillip Island Adventure Resort has been the destination now for a number of years and the laughs keep coming. This year's camp, postponed from Term One because of the bush fires, proved to be another success story. The students challenged themselves and developed their team building skills as they conquered the high ropes course, the giant swing, the twin flying fox, raft building and archery.
A key feature of the camp is having our Year 10 Peer Support Leaders come away with us and working closely with the Year 7 students. Not only does it give an opportunity for this selected group of Year 10 students to further enhance their leadership skills, but it also provides a wonderful setting away from school for long lasting friendships to be formed.
