Annual Musical 2016 The Drowsy Chaperone

musical picThe College annual production is a huge commitment not only in terms of the many hours of rehearsal, set and costume construction, but also through the resourcing required to support all aspects of the show, so I would also like to thank the parents and friends of our performers who supported us through their attendance at the shows. Feedback from the performances has consistently recognised the professionalism and entertainment value of this year’s production and is a reflection of the experience and commitment of our Performing Arts staff.

Suzanne Reinhardt, College Principal.

In 2016 we produced the Tony award winning production, The Drowsy Chaperone!

A die-hard musical theatre fan invites us into his dreary living room. As he drops the needle on his all-time favourite album, an outrageously funny musical from the 1920s, The Drowsy Chaperone, bursts into life – complete with a pampered starlet, gangsters, chorus girls and all manner of mayhem. Don’t miss out on the fun – audition for what promises to be an amazing & fun experience.

Please follow this link to the musical gallery of photographs of the show.

Congratulations to all students  that participated. The show received a standing ovation on Opening night, and just got better and better, with children and adults raving about how much they enjoyed it. Thank you to all staff, parents and friends who volunteered their time and effort and who helped contribute to this huge production.
